French Teacher Turned Mandarin Student

Studying Mandarin at Toronto Mandarin School is always interesting and exciting.
In small groups, we are studying the necessary vocabulary for everyday life, and especially learning how to make real conversation. The teacher ask questions and encourages us to talk to each other, and she writes on the board each new words or expression and this helps us familiarize ourselves with the writing as well. Thus, each week we memorize some new characters. The teaching of the Pinyin phonetic system helps each one of us acquire very good pronunciation. The textbook is very well written, and being able to use it with the CD enables the students to better review the lesson during the week.

I am much appreciate the way in which our teacher, Ms Hong is teaching this course as well as the kind patience with which she is always ready to answer all our questions. I would recommend this school to anyone wanting to study Mandarin
